TEAM INFORMATION

Hey Hey Team DRay! [thur 9/14]

Welcome to the Reston DRay hub. If there's anything I'm missing here that could serve you better, just hit the comment link below and let me know. You may speak anonomously on any kind of feedback you choose. Over to the right is all the info I've been given so far. Bookmark this page and chat freely on the weekly posts, or just check for latest news. Get to know each other, and we'll hook each other up as best as we can. Parents are part of the team too!

For all the parents I haven't met yet, I look forward to it. Don't ever stress over baseball! If I can help out in any way, just let me know. If you have ride problems, just shout and we'll make sure your child has a ride to/from practices and games. If I misstep with regards to you child in any way, definately let me know. Private workout time is hard to come by with only one practice a week... so if you have any special skills you would like your boy to work on, we'll schedule a special session to work on their games or stay late after practice.

On that note, thanks to Coach Pete to saving my life today! [wink wink] It would have been quite a crazy practice with only myself out there. A little hectic today with no field, yet everyone tried out for pitcher and the we found a pitching crew for Saturday, which was the main goal today. I'm trying to keep practices as close to 1.5 hours as possible, will try to maintain that, and will generally stay late for any kids who wish special instruction/practice.

I'll stop there....last notes....the league highly recommends the use of support cups at this level. I will provide a cup for the catcher if he does not have one. My wife Jen will provide snacks this Saturday and the Snack Schedule for the remaining games is linked on the right. If your boy has food allergies, just post a comment on the Snack Schedule. Check comments before your scheduled date to plan accordingly.

Site feed is to the right, if you want to use a feed reader to notify you of updates to this site.

Cheers to sweet season,
Coach
